In April of 2016, I opened Coastal Connecticut Counseling with the hopes and dreams of being able to provide high quality behavioral health services to clients who wanted or needed to use their health insurance. I did not want someone's financial situation to be a barrier for them to receive the support they needed. In order to provide excellent behavioral health services, we need to hire top talent and make sure they are well supported in the work that they do. Since I started Coastal, I have continued to expand the care we offer, so that more people have an opportunity to get the support they need. Here is my journey with our new Milford office - Opening July 2023!

Shout out to PTS Contracting for taking on such a huge endeavor! From the design, to the permitting to choosing the finishes, they have been incredible. They started the project in January and are scheduled for completion 8 weeks early! Zach and the entire PTS team has been extremely easy to work with and I highly recommend them!

Shout out to Christine Sullivan from The Connecticut Small Business Development Center, Buck Harris from CIC (The Community Investment Corporation) and Kathleen Kelly from Webster Bank. They believed in the importance of this project after another bank denied the loan because "in office therapy is becoming obsolete." We are committed to serving our community both in person or Telehealth, as Telehealth is not always the best option for every client.
