As a therapist, it is a rewarding feeling to be a support and a listening ear so that clients do not face life stressors or challenges alone. By providing a judgement free space, clients are able to feel comfortable and safe to express themselves and feel heard. With support, guidance, and encouragement, I believe that anyone can make changes to become the best version of themselves.
My therapeutic style is integrative, including CBT, DBT, person centered, solution focused, and trauma informed practices. I focus on developing a plan unique to fit each client by identifying strengths, developing healthy coping skills, building self-esteem, and working towards personal growth. Also, I believe in building a collaborative client-therapist relationship where there is a trusting alliance and the client feels empowered to be a part of their therapeutic journey.
