LMSW

It is an honor to be a therapist because I get to help children, adolescents, and adults learn the skills they need to help themselves and work toward their goals. I try to create a safe and welcoming environment to foster a trusting, non-judgmental therapeutic team. I highly value people's right to self-determination; I meet them where they are with empathy and support, and collaborate with them to plan their change process. I look at clients through a strengths-based perspective and take a holistic approach to understanding their problems. I use a variety of interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy to empower clients to address what they can control and cope with what they cannot.
